No. Our software is designed to have automation do some of the "heavy lifting" for you of when to enter trades and provide options on when to exit. While there are times that full automation might produce excellent results in the short term, it is NOT designed to be fully automated, where you set it and forget it and just let it run all day or night. That typically would result in large losses at times. We teach you how to maximize your success with our concept of "managed automation" where you will use automation to help you enter and exit the market under certain market conditions that we teach you how to identify in our training.
We are currently working hard on the website and plan to launch in the next few days. Stay tuned for updates!
We offer a wide range of products and services including cutting edge automated software and templates, ongoing, online and video training from beginner to advanced traders, AJ's trade room where you can watch the creator of our tools in action, and our unique, 1 on 1 personal coaching program which we will be announcing when new openings are available.
Our charts are very "visual" in nature, meaning that the key elements jump off the charts at you, making it easy to see which side of the market to be on. That's one big edge!
Our 3 levels of Automation and precision signals are additional edges.
Our easy to follow training is tailored to our tools and is second to none. VET Boot Camp training can change your trading forever!
Our software is designed by a 25 year veteran trader, software developer and mentor. Markets change and move differently every day, and at different times of the year based on nearly endless factors. (Social, economic, political, global, etc.)
We constantly evaluate our software's performance and make sure that it's optimized and fits the current market conditions, without over-optimization called curve fitting. New templates are released every few weeks or months as market conditions change, to ensure that our clients have the biggest edge possible.
Most other companies create a product without actively monitoring how well it actually does in CURRENT market conditions. It might have done great 6 months or a year or two ago, but today it fails to make any money because market dynamics have shifted. Or they go to the other end of the spectrum and over-optimize it called "curve fitting". Curve fitting takes a very small sample size and creates software that looks great on that tiny bit of data for example only looking at one day or a week, but as soon as things change and the market doesn't do exactly what it did on that day, it totally falls apart and gets crushed.
We have our software dialed in to the "sweet spot" without ever over-optimizing it.
Trading is an emotional business with the chance to make or lose a lot of money very quickly. Using our automation and trading signals to make some of the key trading decisions like when to enter, and when to exit can help you greatly reduce emotions, which are the cause of many trading problems for most traders. This can help give you a much better outcome than trying to make all of the decisions in the heat of the moment, while you're watching your account balance go up and down every second in a live trade.
Starting out in trading can be overwhelming. Our FREE "Intro to Trading Basics video course", plus our template video training, and our "Boot camp" video training series helps new traders shorten the learning curve and focus on building good habits, including treating your trading like a business, not just a hobby. Hobbies COST people money, successful businesses MAKE people money.
We would encourage new traders to subscribe to our "AJ's trade room" to get off to a strong start.
To really accelerate your trading career, we offer our unique, 1 on 1 coaching program for those who want to learn as much as you can as fast as you can. Openings are very limited due to the time required for us to devote significant "1 on 1" time to each coaching client.
If you are experienced in trading terminology and how the markets work, that can help you get off to a faster start than a person who is brand new to trading, but experience isn't necessary.
No. We primarily focus on the E-Mini S&P (ES) and the Nasdaq (NQ) futures markets due to the liquidity and profit potential.
We also use a unique bar type on our charts called uniRenko bars that are well suited to scalping and short term day trading.
If you currently trade other markets and would like us to create a template that's optimized for a specific market, we can do that for you. Contact us for details and pricing.
We may add additional markets in the future, but we focus on the ES and NQ for now.
Everyone's financial situation is different, but a rule of thumb is that you should only fund your trading brokerage account with money that you could afford to lose if the worst case scenario happened. Contact your financial advisor or tax professional. There is always significant risk involved in trading.
There are also a number of companies that offer "funded trader accounts" where once you have passed their strict trading evaluation, they will fund an account for you to trade using their funds. Email us for more details at support@visualedgetrading.com.
Great question! In fact, that's probably the most important factor in becoming a successful, consistently profitable trader.
We truly want each of our clients to succeed in trading. So... we STRONGLY suggest that you DO NOT start trading with real money until you have PROVEN to yourself that you are making money CONSISTENTLY in your simulated (demo) account. That's the beauty of trading in that you can practice trade in a sim (demo) account as long as you need to until you are totally comfortable with everything and making consistent profits. No need to put your hard earned money (or a funded account) at risk until then. Your trading is a business, so treat it like one.
Even though our tools and training can help traders gain a real edge in the market, trading is still very challenging due to a numbers of factors that are out of our control, so we do not offer a guarantee of any kind.
We want all of our clients to be happy. Please feel free to reach out to us with any questions before you order, and we'll be happy to help you determine if our software and training is a good fit for you.
The short answer is "both".
For experienced traders who might be struggling to reach their goals, our automated tools can lead to consistent profits, and they often find that our unique and automated tools and training are the missing links to their trading success. We use a unique bar type and our proprietary software is optimized specifically for the markets that we currently trade.
Due to the visual nature, and automation of our software along with the comprehensive training provided, new traders can quickly get started on their trading journey and not need to unlearn any bad habits that some experienced traders deal with. While there's no "holy grail" in trading, with our training and tools, both new and veteran traders can shorten the learning curve to success significantly.
Not at all. You'll get a detailed email that contains the software and templates, with an easy to follow video on how to set things up, step by step.
You also have detailed, written instructions to follow along with in the email.
Most people have no problem getting things up and running by taking their time and following the instructions in the email, but if you need additional help, we offer 1 on 1 remote support sessions for just $49.99 for a 30 minute session, where we can (with your consent) get everything installed and running on your computer or VPS.
Losing your internet, electrical power or having a computer glitch can be very bad if you're trading when it happens.
A VPS (Virtual Private Server) is a separate server hosted by a company that specializes in and provides a very reliable internet connection, computer server and power that is typically far better than residential computers, internet and power supply. You simply log into the VPS from your computer and control it from there.
While it's not mandatory, a VPS is recommended for optimal computer performance, internet reliability, and uninterrupted electrical power.
See our Professional Trading VPS page for more information.
It's not necessary if you have a computer that is powerful enough to handle the data required in trading, a reliable internet connection, along with dependable electrical power.
Unfortunately not. Our coaching program is a very popular option for many of our clients, and there's typically a waiting list to sign up. We strive to give our clients the absolute best experience possible with our tools and training. Due to the large time commitment required as a trading coach, we simply don't have the availability to add non-clients to our coaching program.
No. We have designed this software and our templates specifically for scalping and short term day trading. We might develop swing trading templates in the future.

CFTC RULE 4.41 – HYPOTHETICAL OR SIMULATED PERFORMANCE RESULTS HAVE CERTAIN LIMITATIONS. UNLIKE AN ACTUAL PERFORMANCE RECORD, SIMULATED RESULTS DO NOT REPRESENT ACTUAL TRADING. ALSO, SINCE THE TRADES HAVE NOT BEEN EXECUTED, THE RESULTS MAY HAVE UNDER-OR-OVER COMPENSATED FOR THE IMPACT, IF ANY, OF CERTAIN MARKET FACTORS, SUCH AS LACK OF LIQUIDITY. SIMULATED TRADING PROGRAMS IN GENERAL ARE ALSO SUBJECT TO THE FACT THAT THEY ARE DESIGNED WITH THE BENEFIT OF HINDSIGHT. NO REPRESENTATION IS BEING MADE THAT ANY ACCOUNT WILL OR IS LIKELY TO ACHIEVE PROFIT OR LOSSES SIMILAR TO THOSE SHOWN.
HYPOTHETICAL PERFORMANCE DISCLOSURE :
Hypothetical performance results have many inherent limitations, some of which are described below. no representation is being made that any account will or is likely to achieve profits or losses similar to those shown; in fact, there are frequently sharp differences between hypothetical performance results and the actual results subsequently achieved by any particular trading program. One of the limitations of hypothetical performance results is that they are generally prepared with the benefit of hindsight. In addition, hypothetical trading does not involve financial risk, and no hypothetical trading record can completely account for the impact of financial risk of actual trading. for example, the ability to withstand losses or to adhere to a particular trading program in spite of trading losses are material points which can also adversely affect actual trading results. There are numerous other factors related to the markets in general or to the implementation of any specific trading program which cannot be fully accounted for in the preparation of hypothetical performance results and all which can adversely affect trading results.
